WCI Fleet Service is a proud provider of AFRRCS permitted equipment. AFRRCS is a two-way radio network supporting First Responders and is the province’s First Responder radio solution. The transition to AFRRCS can be a significant undertaking, but we are here to help. To date, WCI has assisted over a dozen agencies with their transition to AFRRCS. Our experienced Project Managers and Technical Administrators will guide you through the process, step by step.

AFRRCS DISPATCH CENTRE SUPPORT

WCI has installed, commissioned and continues to provide ongoing technical support to over half a dozen AFRRCS Dispatch Centers. Support can include representing the agencies to AFRRCS, reporting trouble calls to AFRRCS when dispatch is affected. WCI provides on going user training for each of the dispatch centers.

AFRRCS RADIO TRANSITION

WCI acts as the AFRRCS Technical Administrator for over a dozen agencies. In addition to Technical Administrator, WCI acts as the Crypto officer for these agencies as well. All WCI technicians possess a level 3 security clearance from Edmonton Police Service and/or level 3 security clearance from the RCMP.

WCI TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATORS WILL SAVE YOU TIME

Our AFRRCS technical administrators are here to help you get up and running with quick turnaround time. They manage and monitor your AFRRCS in behalf of your fleet, allowing you to spend your time where it's most important. Their tasks include:

  • Programming radios
  • Fleet mapping talk groups and unique ID’s
  • Three maintain user AFRRCS database in the Unified Administration System (UAS)
    • Adding/deleting users in your fleet
    • Adding/deleting talk groups as identified in the fleet mapping
  • Monitoring your agency performance at a system level
  • Troubleshooting system problems and coordinating trouble calls to the AFRRCS operations team (OMS) as required
  • Access AFRRCS metrics on behalf of your agency to ensure your system is running properly
  • Configure and manage dispatch consoles and voice loggers
